Amazing! times ten to the power of 4. I'm so glad I went to Miami!!
I have to begin by saying how proud I am of my little sis. She epitopizes everything you should attain by your senior year. Her body is in perfect shape, and she is performing like a true athlete with consistency and flare. Academically she is comfortable with her classes and enjoying the level of learning - exactly where you need to be after 3 building years. Her roomates are super - they are etrememly compatible and taught me a thing or ten about carribean music. (I think her one roomate Frankie Chong just might marry Sean Paul one day. serious.) Janet has become a "Renaissance Woman" and is leaving the Liguori name in Miami with honour. We truely had a fun 6 days.
So basically, and now that I think about it, since my last day at work on August 31 - i've been at the cottage and Miami. I'm a vacation queen! And it's totally working. This morning I'm actually feeling the most relaxed I've felt in a long time - a bit more of this lifestyle and I'll be fully recharged and ready to start acting like a bride-to-be.
Today I think i'll make another dent in my VISA and get my hair done. I'm going to a wedding this weekend for the lovely Corinne, my university friend, so it's totally justified - plus my hair went totally red from being in the Miami sun. And tomorrow night Jason and I are going to watch the Maple Leafs at the ACC courtesy of dadsie. Shoot! that means i'll miss Victor's party!! - well maybe I can swing by and pay a visit to the MMdi crew before the puck drops.
Being back home for the second day now, I'm easing into a routine that is quite nice actually. I'll be taking knitting classes with my lovelies from Sheridan College in October and on Tuesday mornings I'll be doing pilates at the Clarkson Community Centre. Yesterday I woke up and went for a power walk in the 'hood. Pretty soon I'll be a regular with all the seniors and dog walkers!!
Anyway - for now I've got to finishing booking our flights to Miami. My entire family is going to visit Janet for the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. We haven't done that since her sophomore year!
Hugs and Love,
Angela
