a choreographed first dance for the bride and groom is THE way to go.
On Sunday I went to my friend Corinne's wedding at Le Jardin in Woodbridge. It was lovely! The ceremony and reception were both held there. Besides the obvious uber-planning that was put into the event (everything just ran so smoothly) my fav parts were the casino tables at the reception, best man and fathers' speeches and when they put Adam and Corinne up on chairs in the middle of the dance floor! Those Jews are F-U-N!
Last night we had a little farewell din with the Sheridan girls at Heather's house. The occasion: Erin B is heading to Ireland tomorrow.... waaaaaaaaaah! I must admit that I'm totally in admiration of her fresh start in a new place. It motivates me to do something meaningful (besides this wonderful blog) with my time off. We talked about so much - as we always do on our regular get-togethers - but last night we were particularly impressed with how much has happened to all of us this past 6 months. Holy we're grown-ups. And for the next while, we'll miss Erin for sure but are definately going to visit!!
Also on this note - dinner was fabulous. Heather made her signature spinach, raspberry and goat cheese salad - super yum. And I made turkey burgers from scratch. me. on my own. like i went to the grocery store, got all the ingredients and followed a recipe. (p.s. check out turkeyfordinner.ca) Josie - i hope you're enjoying the leftovers for lunch today! weeeeeeeeeeeee!
Hugs and Love,
Angela
