i'm slightly embarrassed to report that although he wasn't one of the overnight tenters blowing $800 on a PS3, my hubby (with the help of his cousins) hopped on the coo-coo train for a ride to the so called videogame nirvana that is this new nintendo thing.

let's compare for arguments sake. i admittedly have waited in a freezing cold line up for an hour on King St. to get into the beloved Lulu sale extravaganza. but c'mon! that was 1pm on a workday and shopping at lunch is completely acceptable.

anyway - sure enough, i come home from teaching on monday night to find jason and his cousin in our living room boxing each other. oh yeah. did i mention this thing has controllers that you actually have to act out the motions of what you are doing?! basically i'll be hearing a whole lotta "boo-ya" and "Yeeeeeeee-ah" till this thing wears down.

Oye! Who said christmas was allowed to come early in my house anyway?
