Sick of being SICK

It has been two (maybe more) solid weeks of stuffy nose, coughing chest and now my favourite - def from plugged ears...

The last time I remember being pounded by a cold, even a sniffle, is maybe high school. But I can't seem to recall all the highlights as of late such as jolting upright in bed, drenched in sweat, still sleeping until I coughing fit myself awake.

The sad part is having to constantly apologize to everyone: "sorry I'm sick don't come near", "don't worry i just washed my hands!"
Try saying that to a class full of 5-year-olds that tackle you with hugs once a week... Or the ever awkward trying to whisper "I'm sick" while offering an apologetic wave as people reach to shake my hand in church. Brutal. I should just wear a sign: BEWARE OF SICK PERSON with an arrow pointing to my head.

Oh well. I'm still waiting for the calls from Kleenex and Purell - one more week of this and I'm up for sponsorship!

Hugs (with a mask) and Love,
Angela
